The two actors are reportedly set to team up for a film titled ‘Chor Police’ which is an out-and-out comedy. As per a report in Pinkvilla, the duo will have a very dynamic chemistry in the film which is written by Anees Bazmee and Pattu Parekh. The film is touted to be produced by Subhash Ghai and Anees. As per the report, Ravi Jadhav is being considered for directing the film.
The report further stated that it’s a typical Anees Bazmee film with cops, thieves, families and a love story. There would be more actors who would be cast soon. It was Subash Ghai who had bought Anil and Jackie together in films like ‘Trimurti’, ‘Ram Lakhan’ and ‘Karma’ while he’s also done some memorable work separately with the two actors. Infact, Ghai had launched Jackie into the movies. That further makes this reunion quite exciting.
At the moment, Anil Kapoor is shooting for ‘Fighter’ with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Jackie on the other hand is also reportedly set to reunite with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after ‘Devdas’. As per rumours, he will be seen in ‘Heeramandi’. An official announcement hasn’t been made on this though.
