Ekta Kapoor and Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Love Sex aur Dhokha 2′ is based on reality show like Bigg Boss – Times of India

Earlier today it was speculated that producer Ekta Kapoor and filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee were going to Bigg Boss 16 to announce the next installment of the cult classic LSD ‘Love Sex aur Dhokha’. While that news piqued the interested of many fans, it has also led to speculations around the film’s subject. ETimes has been informed that one of the reasons behind Ekta and Dibakar going to announce the film at a reality show like Bigg Boss 16 is that one of the stories in the film’s anthology is based on a reality show similar to Bigg Boss.

Usually, actors and directors head to reality shows and TV shows to promote their upcoming films. But Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 will have the unique distinction of being announced at such a TV spot. A source close to the development revealed, “One of the stories of ‘Love Sex aur Dhokha 2′ is about a reality show, which is similar to Bigg Boss. Hence announcing the film on Bigg Boss seems just right.”
There’s also speculation that Ekta and Dibakar will be offering a role from LSD2 to one of the contestants who are currently in the Bigg Boss house.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha had released back in 2010 and it launched the careers of Rajkummar Rao, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Anshuman Jha and others. Actors Neha Chauhan, Amit Sial, Herry Tangri and Ashish Sharma also made a mark through the film, so did composer Sneha Khanwalkar.
