ETimes had exclusively revealed that since Athiya wanted a low key wedding and KL Rahul was besotted by the Khandala mansion, Suniel Shetty decided that it was apt to turn ‘Jahan’ into the wedding venue. The guests will be put up at the bear by Radisson Hotel.
Post the wedding, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul will host a grand reception in Mumbai. A source had told BT, “The wedding will be an extremely private ceremony with just the couple’s close friends and family in attendance. There will be around 100 guests at the shaadi. Given the hectic cricket schedules, a wedding bash has been planned for the film industry and cricket bigwigs after the IPL wraps up in May.” The post IPL bash is expected to have more than 3000 guests. While the couple is keeping mum about the shaadi, KL Rahul had stated that he is unavailable for the ongoing New Zealand series due to family commitments, confirming that the cricketer has taken leave for his wedding.
