The teaser sees Akshay and Emraan looking dapper in shiny party suits and shaking a leg with a host of background dancers. The essence of the song has ben retained and one can hardly make out any difference. The duo lights up the dance floor and the teaser certainly evokes a nostalgia. From the looks of it, the song could well become the party anthem of the year. The full song drops on 1st February.
Fans seem to already like the song that is yet to be released. “No expensive cars , no alcohol only tea and pure love ♥️ this song is justtttt 🥺🌍♥️” wrote a fan. “It’s only a teaser but goosebumps is full 🔥🔥💥” wrote another.
The trailer also had a few glimpses of the song showing the two inside a disco in the same shimmery outfits. The song also features actresses Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty.
Directed by Raj Mehta, Selfiee is a story of a father-son duo who are the biggest fans of superstar Vijay Kumar (played by Akshay Kumar) and want to click a selfie with them, however, they end up in a feud with the superstar.
The film has a mix of emotions and will definitely take you on a roller-coaster ride. The film which is an official remake of Soorarai Pottru will hit theatres on 24 February 2023.
