‘Client wants to spend time!’ Rupanjana Mitra receives illicit message, actress vows to trace the ‘middleman’ and ‘big fish’ – Times of India

Actor-politician Rupanjana Mitra is furious after receiving illicit proposal from a social media user. She can’t believe how someone can make this kind of approach to her. The popular actor took to her Facebook handle and shared a series of screenshots from a Whatsapp chat and wrote how one user sent these foul messages to her.
The ‘Ikir Mikir’ actor first received an email and when on being asked about worked related queries she shared her phone number. After that, that person messaged her on Whatsapp and Rupanjana was left speechless when she was asked about her ‘fee’. The person said that his client, a businessman wants to meet Rupanjana and spend some quality time. Keeping her cool the actor still asked if this meeting is related to any work but there was no direct answer.

“This person said that the client is not from the entertainment industry and is a Bengali businessman. I asked about his name, details and also a picture but this guy didn’t want to share the details. I was so furious and said that you won’t afford me. I guess you people are looking for harem center. I also said that I will found out who they are. They certainly knocked on the wrong door. Ignoring for several years made no difference at all to sick people like them who just think women to be their commodity and society catering to such needs as well. Perhaps this world could change and be safe for good women who don’t want to participate in such dirty business,” said the actress ETimes reached to her.
Rupanjana also revealed that she is taking proper action against the person and will file a police complaint. At the same time she is worried about this new trend of setting up honey traps. “How can they think like this? We are artists and we worship our work. My concern is what if a young girl or an aspiring actress steps into this trap. This spineless pimps who only think women as commodity should be identified. I want to trace this businessman also. Some have already messaged me that this guy named Mrinmoy has also contacted them as well. Sometimes he asks for celebrity actress phone numbers. These are nothing but middlemen who serve to the big fish. For a certain section of people our industry’s image is getting damaged. Someone has to speak up and I can assure you that I will take this matter to the court if needed,” said a furious Rupanjana.
