Directed by Venky Atluri, ‘Vaathi’ is a Tamil and Telugu bilingual film starring Dhanush and Samyuktha in the lead roles. Dhanush plays the role in the movie as a Math teacher who fights against the political corruption in the Indian education system. The film is set in the 90s and focuses on privatisation of education creates a mishap in the society. The rest of the film’s cast include Samuthirakani, Tanikella Bharani, Hyper Aadi amomg others.
