Nawazuddin Siddiqui will not get custody of his children merely on basis of being a provider, says his wife Aaliya Siddiqui’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee – Times of India



Nawazuddin Siddiqui has rubbished reports about the reported problems faced by his house maid Sapna in Dubai. At the same time, the ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ star has expressed concern over the education of his children Shora and Yaani. While interacting with the media the actor said, “He wants the children to go back to Dubai for studies.”
ETimes reached out to lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee, who is representing Nawazuddin’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui. Reacting to Nawazuddin’s claim, the lawyer said, “The Courts will decide the custody of the children as well as all other matters before it. The children in the meantime may continue their studies in India till then. Mr Nawazuddin cannot get full custody merely on the basis of being a provider.”

Rizwan Siddiquee has been at the forefront of bringing Nawazuddin’s house help, Sapna’s story to light. He was the one who first shared the ordeal she was facing back in Dubai. Ever since, Rizwan has been sharing regular updates from Sapna’s story, with her getting her dues paid by Nawaz, her arrival in India and her subsequent statements. Rizwan also shared an exclusive update with ETimes that Nawaz’s wife Aaliya is facing a financial crisis right now and is forced to rely on the ration that is sent for their children.
