Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul pray for marital bliss and Indian cricket team’s success at Mahakaleshwar Temple – Times of India

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are one of B-Town’s latest and most favourite newlyweds. They tied the knot in a lavish wedding in Lonavala last month on January 23. Like most Indian couples, Athiya and Rahul have been spotted visiting a place of worship to seek blessings for their matrimony. They were recently spotted at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.

According to reports, the newlyweds had informed temple authorities in advance about their visit. And as was recommended, both Athiya and Rahul participated in the temple’s famed Bhasm Arti ritual. Reports have also revealed that the couple had two distinct prayers at the temple. They wished for marital bliss in their relationship and they also asked the almighty for the Indian cricket team’s success. It is believed that both KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty worship Lord Shiva and that’s why the visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple was an important one for them.

Not just that, the temple’s head priest has also revealed that KL Rahul asked for the ash from the Bhasm Arti revealing to the priests of the temple that the holy ash was the best form of prasad. Photos of their visit were circulated all over social media on Sunday, after their visit to the holy city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh.

Fans and followers were quick to jump into the action and speculate that Rahul had gone to the holy temple of Lord Shiva to turn around his lack of form. But the comments were all made in jest and most of the talk around this visit was centered around the newly married couple seeking divine blessings for the auspicious future of their relationship.
