Scoop: Bheed trailer resurfaces on T-Series’ YouTube channel after CBFC clearance – Times of India

Anubhav Sinha’s powerful, moving and relevant masterpiece Bheed is all set to release on Friday. The Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the film an all-clear except for one major modification wherein the comparison between the migratory exodus during the COVID pandemic is compared with the movement across the border during the Partition of 1947.
This removed, the CBFC has happily given the nod to Sinha’s film, lauding it for its recreation of the panic and despair, also the glimmers of hope and compassion, so vividly and evocatively.

Interestingly the trailer of Bheed is back on the T-Series YouTube channel with the references to 1947’s Partition jettisoned from the content.
A few days ago, after the release of the trailer of Bheed, it received backlash for comparing 2020’s migration to the 1947 partition. Following the feedback, T-Series, the production house presenting the movie decided to back out of the project and also pulled the film’s trailer down from their channel.

Bheed features Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, Ashutosh Rana, Pankaj Kapur and Kritika Kamra in major roles.
