On the occasion of Ugadi, the team ‘KD’ announced Shilpa Shetty Kundra being on board for the film. The actress will play Satyavati, as mentioned in the poster. Shilpa Shetty was last seen in Upendra’s ‘Auto Shankar’, and returns to Sandalwood after nearly two decades. Shilpa Shetty also took to social media to announce her comeback in the Kannada film industry but goofed up while wishing the Kannada people Ugadi wishes.On her Twitter account, Shilpa Shetty wrote, “Ugadi subhakankshaluGudi Padwyachya hardik shubhecchaOn this auspicious day of NEW beginnings, I’m thrilled to share with you a NEW character entering the war in #KD’s battlefield as #Satyavati.”

Seeing the wishes posted in Telugu by Shilpa Shetty, netizens who saw the mistake immediately pounced on the comment sections to take a heavy class for her confusion irking all the Kannada lovers.
