Rajpal Yadav recalls getting attacked by dogs as a child; says John Abraham and Anurag Kashyap helped him get rid of his fear – Times of India

Rajpal Yadav is one of the pet parents we have in Bollywood. The actor has a dog named Buddy in his family. However, did you know that there was a time when Yadav was afraid of dogs?
Yes, you read that right! In an interview with a news portal, the actor recalled being attacked by dogs as a child. He revealed that he ran for his life and was ultimately saved by a farmer. Since then, his mind has been filled with fear about dogs.

Elaborating further, the actor added that for the film ‘Jungle’, he had to shoot with a King Cobra. He revealed that the caretakers don’t remove their poison or break their teeth, as they treat the snake like their own child. In the film, his death takes place because of the snake. Since it was his first film, he gathered all his guts, and with the help of the action master, the actor recalled pulling off that scene. However, he vowed that he would never do it again.

Spilling some beans on how he got rid of his fear and allowed Buddy into his life, Rajpal told Mid Day that his friend Anurag approached him for a film about a watchman and a dog, and that’s when he started feeding dogs and trying to be friends with them. Although the film didn’t work out, Anurag helped him get attached to dogs.

Another incident took place with John Abraham in Mauritius. Rajpal revealed that the dogs there were as tall as John. He observed how John made friends with the dogs, though nobody in that area had the guts to approach them. He realised that if he gave them love, they could be friends with him too.
