Revealed: Here is why Kajal Aggarwal prefers the South Indian Film Industry over Bollywood – Times of India

Every actor who has worked in Hindi and Southern language films is often asked which one they prefer between the two, and more often than not, they come up with an extremely diplomatic answer. However, Kajal Aggarwal, who is known for films like Singham, Special 26, Magadheera, Thuppakki and Mersal, recently said that she prefers the South industry over Bollywood as the former is ‘very accepting’ and ‘friendly’.
Elaborating more about this at a News18 summit, the actor said that a lot of artists want to start their career in the Hindi industry as it is a widely recognised language. However, she feels that the South is more friendly, and accepting of actors. Moreover, many fabulous technicians and wonderful directors are creating phenomenal content in all four major South languages namely Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
She also added that even though the Hindi film industry has been accepting and kind to her, she just prefers the ecosystem, ethics, values, and the discipline that the industry down south has to offer.

Kajal, who grew up and studied in Mumbai also added that Hyderabad and Chennai are home to her now.
