Rani Mukerji candidly revealed how her seven-year-old daughter Adira is expressive and demands ‘me time’ every once in a while, especially when Rani is in her room.
In a recent interview, the ‘Mardaani’ star, who most recently featured in the movie Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway, talked about the relationship she shares with her daughter, Adira Chopra. The actor was in a conversation with Kareena Kapoor Khan on the show, Mirchi Plus.
Rani revealed that whenever she tries to spend too much time with her daughter in her (Adira’s) room, she gradually starts requesting her mother to leave the room; however, she is not able to say that directly.

Instead, she uses a buzzword, which her father Aditya Chopra has taught to her. That phrase is “me time”.
So, whenever the daughter wants to be alone, she tells her mom, Rani, “yeah mama, now it’s my ‘me time’,” which is the phrase that her father Aditya Chopra has taught Adira.
Rani admitted that motherhood has changed her completely. She explains how in the first moment after her baby was born and when she as a mother first looked at the baby’s face, she realised that there is something in her world now which is even more important than herself.
