Rani Mukerji’s recently released film Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway has managed to struck a chord with the audience. The movie opened to rave reviews upon its release and also received a good response in theatres. On Wednesday, Rani was seen celebrating the box office success of her film in Mumbai.
At the bash, Rani was seen posing with Jim Sarbh and choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant. The film’s music composer Amit Trivedi was also seen at the venue. Dhoom 3 director Vijay Krishna Acharya along with his wife Anusheh Khan also joined them.

In the film, Rani essays the role of a mother battling the state for her kids. The film is based on Sagarika Chakaraborty’s book The Journey of a Mother. Directed by Ashima Chibber, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway also stars Neena Gupta, Jim Sarbh and Anirban Bhattacharya among others.
Sagarika Chatterjee is a woman who stood up against the government of Norway to fight for the right to be reunited with her children after they were taken away from her and placed in foster care and were told that they will not be returned until the age of 18.
