“Bollywood is in bad shape. Again. Seems as if the entire industry is happy giving unrealistic and exorbitant fees to stars who can’t even guarantee an opening. Most money is wasted in vanity and lifestyle of stars. What’s going wrong?” he tweeted.
Earlier, Vivek had praised Shah Rukh Khan for the massive success of Pathaan after criticising the film over Besharam Rang controversy. He credited SRK for saving the film from boycott calls.
A few days ago, Vivek had reacted to Priyanka Chopra’s comments about leaving Bollywood after being pushed into a corner. He called her real life star and said that very few quit, make their own universe of success.
“When big bullies bully, some kneel down, some surrender, some give up and leave, some take drugs, few have lost life too. Against this ‘impossible to defeat’ gang of bullies, very very few quit and make their own universe of success. Those are the real life stars,” he had tweeted.
After The Kashmir Files, Vivek is now working on his next film The Vaccine War, which stars Nana Patekar and Anupam Kher.
