The 33-year-old newly single star was spotted out on dinner with some of her celebrity friends. The plush restaurant in question happened to be a stone’s throw away from Cornelia Street, which featured in one of Taylor’s songs on the album ‘Lover’. The track’s lyrics read, “And I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends / I’d never walk Cornelia Street again / That’s the kind of heartbreak time could never mend.”
The song was believed to be about her romance with Joe. However, the same was never really confirmed.

Rocking worn-out jeans, a tee and a statement handbag, the singer was seen smiling at fans as she walked by. One detail of her outfit seemed to have left fans on Twitter divided. “Taylor Swift was spotted wearing her iconic ‘J’ necklace despite there being rumours from major news outlets about her and Joe Alwyn breaking up,” wrote a fan.
However, another said, “This is not the J necklace guys it’s hollow if you zoom in.”

According to the latest reports, Taylor and Joe broke up after six years of dating. An insider close to the couple confirmed the news to People magazine, saying the split was amicable and “it was not dramatic”.
The development comes as Swift is travelling the country for her sold-out ‘Eras’ tour. “The relationship had just run its course. It’s why (Alwyn) hasn’t been spotted at any shows,” the source added.
Over the years, Swift, 33, and Alwyn, 32, kept their relationship private, deflecting engagement rumours.
The duo, who started dating in 2016, also collaborated on music together during the COVID-19 pandemic, culminating in a Grammy Awards win.
Swift’s ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’ each included collaborations with Alwyn, who wrote several songs under the pseudonym William Bowery. Alwyn is credited as a co-writer on ‘Betty’ and ‘Exile’ from ‘Folklore’ and ‘Champagne Problems’, ‘Coney Island’, and ‘Evermore’ on ‘Evermore’.
