Kubbra Sait, in her memoir, ‘Open Book: Not Quite A Memoir’, recalled hosting a bizarre wedding in Maldives. The actress shared her horrific experience in the book.
Kubbra said that she was approached to host a wedding in the exotic location and didn’t discuss the stay presuming she would be given a private room. However, once on board the flight to the destination, Kubbra was asked to adjust with the other entertainers on a boat arranged for the wedding. The actress refused, warning that she would return. After much discussion, she was given an $800 suite.

The actress revealed that the sangeet ceremony function was more like an adult striptease show. The dancing girls with their thirsty tongues licked their lips as they allowed their blouses to be stuffed with money.
And if this wasn’t enough, an elderly man splashed a drink on her back to get her attention. The actress recalled lashing out at the man and warning him to not do it again.
Kubbra was last seen in Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Farzi’. The series also starred Vijay Sethupathi in a key role. The series was well-received by the audience.
