Before that, the main reason why audiences would want to watch the movie is for Namashi who is following in the footsteps of his father Mithun, mother Yogeeta Bali and brother Mahakshay (Mimoh) Chakraborty. In Bad Boy, Namashi plays a free-spirited young man determined to woo his lady love (played by Amrin) and the her family (which includes her strict father and conniving uncle played by Saswata Chatterjee and Johnny Lever respectively). In an interview with ETimes, Namashi had revealed all that’s exciting about his debut film. He had also spoken extensively about his relationships and his family. Check out the interview below:
Those who have seen the Bad Boy trailer with a discerning eye, have spotted a dialogue by Rajesh Sharma’s character who plays Namashi’s father in the film. The dialogue is: “Tu jab jab khush hua hai.. tab tab mein barbaad hua hu”. The same dailougue was spoken by Deven Verma in Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ when the notorious Amar (played by Aamir Khan) visits his father’s salon to ask for money and narrates his plan to become super rich overnight. The fun banter between the father-son is still enjoyable today and the dialogue still makes an impact even in a totally new setting.

Namashi and Amrin feature in this comedy-drama along with more seasoned actors like Darshan Jariwala, Kenneth Desai and Kurush Deboo. Another highlight from the trailer is a sneak peek at Mithun Chakraborty’s cameo. The film has music by Himesh Reshammiya and it’s slated to release on April 28.
