‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ box office collection day 2 early estimates: The Salman Khan starrer sees a big jump on Saturday – Times of India

‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ (KKBKKJ) is Salman Khan‘s first Eid release post the pandemic and fans were waiting for it. But, that didn’t reflect in the first day collections of the fiilm. On its day 1, ‘KKBKKJ’ collected Rs 14 crore at the domestic box office. Those are considered low numbers for a Salman film releasing around Eid because his other films like ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ had an opening of around 26 crore.
But, the good news is that the film has seen a huge jump on Saturday. This growth on Day 2, might make th second day total to around 20 crore nett plus, as per trade website boxofficeindia.com. Depending on the afternoon and evening shows, the total could also come up to around Rs 22 crore. Yesterday, the film had performed well in mass centres. But today, even some multiplexes which were dull yesterday have shown a growth.

The single screens continue to remain house full even on Saturday, especially in Maharashtra and Gujarat. Only ‘Pathaan’ and ‘KGF 2’ have seen this trend. This jump in the collections is seen as a big relief for people as finally one hopes to see some good numbers for an Eid release. One awaits the final figures of Saturday and now the Sunday figures will play a huge role in determining how the film has performed.
‘KKBKKJ’ also stars Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Palak Tiwari, Shehnaaz Gill among others.
