Yash Chopra‘s wife Pamela Chopra passed away on Thursday morning. The family announced her demise after her cremation as they wanted it their privacy. The last three days saw several celebs at Aditya Chopra‘s house to pay their respect to her. Meanwhile, a prayer meet was held today at Yash Raj Studios. It was attended by several celebs like Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan among others.

Rani Mukerji was also seen as she folded her hands and greeted the paparazzi.

But surprisingly, one saw Aditya Chopra making a rare public appearance as he was clicked by the paparazzi.
Aditya Chopra had appeared in the recently released show on OTT, ‘The Romantics’ which was an ode to Yash Chopra and his legacy. That’s when people laughed and said, ‘yes Aditya Chopra exists, he isn’t a rumour’.

Chopra has always liked to maintain a low profile and is often far off from the public eye and one of the reasons for that is that he doesn’t want his creative mind or work take a backseat over all the limelight that comes along with being a public figure.

Meanwhile, Pamela had played a huge role in the legacy that Chopra created. She wasn’t just his wife but a huge influence and support to him, even in his filmmaking process. The duo had got married in 1970. Yash Chopra passed away in 2012.
