Manoj Bajpayee: Life has never been better – Times of India

Manoj Bajpayee who celebrated his 54th birthday on 23 April, has never been in a better place. “It is a good life, a wonderful life. A life with minimum compromises. Luckily, I am in a position where I don’t have to do the work I don’t want to do. I am happy in my little world. My wife and daughter are my paradise. Spending time with them is the biggest gift I can give to myself. The two ladies in my life make sure that I remain grounded.”
Manoj’s career has been on the upswing for the past few years.

“Would I describe The Family Man as a game-changer? I would for sure. It rejuvenated me as an actor, showed me the future of cinema. We can’t go on pretending that the digital platform is not a viable alternative to the movie-theatre experience. The OTT is a reality and we better face it, the sooner the better,” warns Manoj who now readies himself for the third season of The Family Man.
What have the recent years taught Manoj? “That anything can happen anytime. We were so ill-prepared for the pandemic. It taught us how unpredictable life can be. Success and failure are so temporary. This is why I take neither very seriously.”
