Tollywood director Nandita Roy hospitalized with high fever | Bengali Movie News – Times of India



Director Nandita Roy who was extremely busy recently ahead of their film ‘Fatafati’s theatrical release has been hospitalized with a high fever. Fatafati has been bankrolled by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee’s production house. On Friday evening, during the premiere of the Aritra Mukherjee-directed film at a South Kolkata cinema hall the ace director was absent and it raised quite a few eyebrows. Nandita never misses the premiere shows of their films and when she couldn’t be found at the star-studded premiere speculation was rife about her health condition.
As per sources, Nandita has been admitted to the hospital for the past three days with an extremely high fever. However, doctors have assured that there’s nothing to worry about. It’s a case of Influenza and the veteran director is recovering well but she is still under observation at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the premiere of Ritabhari Chakraborty and Abir Chatterjee starrer ‘Fatafati’ was a star-studded affair and the film has been appreciated by one and all.

On the other hand, the first poster of Nandita-Shiboprosad’s debut Hindi film ‘Shastry Virudh Shastry’ was released. The film is the official Hindi remake of the director duo’s 2017 hit film ‘Posto’. It stars Mimi Chakraborty alongside Paresh Rawal and Neena Kulkarni. The original Bengali film starred late actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Lily Chakraborty, Jisshu U Sengupta and Mimi Chakraborty in the lead.
