The legendary actress Sulochana Latkar who is well-known for her multiple Hindi and Marathi movies passed away on Sunday, June 4, in Mumbai. The actress was 94 years old and breathed her last at Sushrusa Hospital in Dadar, Mumbai.
According to reports, the veteran actress had some respiratory problems and other age-related ailments. She passed away on Sunday evening at 6 30 pm.
Soon after the news of actress Sulochana Latkar’s demise broke out, fans and celebs started mourning his loss. Sulochana’s funeral is to be held in the funeral ground in Shivaji Park, Mumbai, on June 5. Her close friend Sachin Pilgaonkar, Raj Thackeray, CM Eknath Shinde and other celebs arrived to pay their last respects at her residence.
PM Narendra Modi tweeted, “The passing of Sulochana Ji leaves a big void in the world of Indian cinema. Her unforgettable performances have enriched our culture and have endeared her to people across generations. Her cinematic legacy will live on through her works. Condolences to her family.
