While one section of the entertainment sector remains indifferent to her publicity-seeking antics (“Ignore her,” advises a reality TV contestant) another much smaller section feels the actress needs to urgently address her need to be in the news.
“It isn’t healthy,” says a prominent filmmaker who feels Urvashi is damaging her career irreparably. “She is a pretty girl. She started her career as Sunny Deol’s leading lady (in Singh Saab The Great). But then her ambitions got the better of her. She didn’t see any big banners coming her way. So she decided to create a career of her own on the social media with the help of a very aggressive marketing team which ensures she makes news, even fabricated and false.”
The staggering list of Rautela’s falsifications in recent months range from a one-sided romance with cricketer Rishab Pant to a phantom film with the Kantara hero Rishab Shetty.
