Shilpa Shetty, who debuted in Bollywood with Baazigar went on to deliver films like Dus, Phir Milenge, Dhadkan etc. She also received International acclaim when she won Celebrity Big Brother in the United Kingdom. Over the last few years, she has added another facet to her life and that is entrepreneurship. Along with movies and web shows, she has also invested in many business ventures. The actress turns 48 today.
In an old interview, Shilpa mentioned that she is not apologetic about being glamorous, it is not a bad thing and it is important to look good when you are an actress. In the same interview, she also honestly accepted going under the knife and getting a nose job done. Her stand was that she did not do it to make it more beautiful, but did it just to enhance her features.
Shilpa also added that she doesn’t consider herself good looking, but she does her bit to stay fit.
