Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had fallen in love on the sets of ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela‘. They first met and worked together on this Sanjay Leela Bhansali film and dated for six years before they tied the knot in 2018.
Gulshan Deviahhad also worked with Ranveer and DP on ‘Ram Leela’. The actor recently recalled how nobody realised at first what was brewing between DP and Ranveer on the sets.Gulshan said in an interview recently that they didn’t see anything in the first schedule of the film. But during the second schedule in Udaipur, he noticed that Deepika was sitting in Ranveer’s lap and they didn’t realise when did that happen? Gushan added that Deepika would come, do her job and leave. They had shot two-three song sequences but didn’t notice anything at that point.
The actor further added that Ranveer was smitten by her right from the beginning and he must have pursued her really hard. Post ‘Ram Leela’, Ranveer and DP worked together in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and then ‘Padmaavat’. However, they didn’t have any scenes together in ‘Padmaavat’.
The couple was last seen together in ’83’ but DP only had an extended appearance in the film. Fans also loved them as she did a cameo in the ‘Current Laga’ song from ‘Cirkus’ and now want them to feature together in a movie again!
Deepika and Ranveer have worked together in three films as the lead pair. He has also appeared in a cameo in the film Finding Fanny, while Deepika returned the favour with an extended appearance in 83, and a quick cameo in Cirkus.
Meanwhile, Gulshan was last seen in ‘Dahaad’ for which he got a lot of appreciation.
