According to reports, the film may just be getting ready to score a huge first weekend at the box office, all thanks to the advance bookings that opened up well in time for the global release on Friday, June 16.

The makers announced last week that advance bookings for the film will open on Sunday, and now, reports state that the film has already recorded over 36,000 ticket sales in just the Hindi dubbed version. Early estimates state that the film has already crossed the Rs 1.40 crore mark in Hindi markets with the 3D format contributing to almost Rs 1.35 crore.
A viral post, on the other hand, claims that the film has already shot past the Rs 300 crore mark at the global box office, thanks to advance ticket sales.
Headlined by Prabhas, ‘Adipurush’ is the big-budget feature adaptation of the Indian mythological epic – The Ramayana.
The film stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. Directed by Om Raut, the film is touted to be one of the most expensive projects ever made with a budget of over Rs 500 crore.
‘Adipurush’ also stars Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage. It will have its international premiere today, at the 2023 edition of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
