Earlier this year Aamir Khan was spotted at Zoya Akhtar’s office, leading to speculations that the two are planning to work on a project. A source has informed ETimes that after several meeting, Aamir and Zoya have finally decided on a project they want to work on.
“Recently, Aamir Khan and Zoya Akhtar caught up with each other to discuss a project recently, which has been churning on for a while now.Both parties have liked the plotline very much and are keen to take the project ahead. Rest of the details about this yet untitled project are yet to be discussed upon and locked. Everything is kept under the wraps,” revealed the industry insider.
After ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which released in August last year, Aamir Khan had announced that he will take a break from acting. He had stated that he will produce ‘Champions’ remake but will not feature in the same. Aamir ahd shared, “When I am doing a film as an actor, I get so lost in that that nothing else happens in my life. I was supposed to do a film after Laal Singh Chaddha called Champions. It’s a wonderful script, a beautiful story, and it’s a very heartwarming and lovely film. But I feel that I want to take a break, be with my family, with my mom, my kids. This is the time I feel I have to take some time off to be with them, and actually experience life in a different way. I am looking forward to the next year, year-and-a-half in which I am not working as an actor.”
