Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ co-star Shishir Sharma says that the actor rehearsed 120 times for each scene | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Aamir Khan is called a ‘perfectionist’ for a reason, because the actor rehearses for every movie so many times and devotes a year or two for every project, to make sure that he’s completely into the character. In a recent interview, Aamir’s ‘Dangal‘ co-star has given a testament to that.
Actor Shishir Sharmahad a small part in ‘Dangal’ and he recalled the time when Aamir took him in a corner and told him that to speak in Haryanvi requires practice. It doesn’t come easily to everyone, hence one has to practice it. Aamir used to rehearse every scene 120 times and that’s what Aamir is all about, said Shishir.
Sharma further added that Aamir got on to the set with so much professionalism and that energy would rub on to everyone else around him including the people who were behind the camera. Incidentally, Shishir’s mother Shashi Sharma had worked with Aamir in ‘Talaash’ and she told him that she had worked with his father in a play called ‘Kabuliwala’. Aamir was left stumped to hear that and after the film, he sent mangoes to their house. That was an ice-breaker between Shishir and Aamir on the sets of ‘Dangal’ as Aamir told him about this incident. Since then, they shared a good friendship on the sets.
Aamir was last seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha‘. The actor decided to take a break from movies for atleast a year after its release. Though, he was seen in a cameo in ‘Salaam Venky‘.
