As Mrigdeep Singh Lamba’s Fukrey turns 10 on June 14, the director shares his elation at the popularity the film has gained over the years.
Says Lamba, “It’s a wonderful feeling. That I am feeling nostalgic would be an understatement. And what best way to celebrate ten years of Fukrey than with the announcement of a third part of Fukrey? It’s all because of the love that the film has received over the decade.”
Going through the Fukrey journey has been an process of growth and evolution for Mrigdeep.“It makes me emotional and excited. I am grateful and blessed to have felt the same level of excitement on the first day of first film and the last day of the third film.”
Giving us a peep into Fukrey 3 Mrigdeep says, “It’s carrying forward the same madness, fun and excitement as the first two parts, and it’s a full-fledged manifestation of what a second sequel of a comedy film should do.”
