When asked about it, Raghavinitially told The Quint in an interview that their conversation should be restricted to the political alliances and not personal alliances. However, he broke the barrier and admitted that his colleagues, co-workers in the party, and his seniors would tease him about getting married.
But now they tease him a little less because they know that he will be getting married soon.
Parineeti and Raghav’s engagement happened at the Kapurthala house in New Delhi in the presence of their loved ones. Several high profile guests such as Priyanka Chopra, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and AAP leader and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Congress leader Kapil Sibal among others had marked their attendance. Both Raghav and Parineeti had kept mum about their relationship before their engagement.
The two reportedly knew each other for several years before they began dating. The couple was recently spotted scouting for locations in Udaipur for the wedding, hinting that they will follow in her cousin Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ footsteps in tying the knot in Rajasthan.
Earlier this month, Parineeti and Raghav were spotted doing ‘sewa’ at the Golden Temple. Both of them were seen washing the plates carefully. While it is being said that the couple will have a winter wedding, they are yet to make an official announcement.
