The Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut starrer after a good opening on September 28 saw a slight dip on day 2 of its release. The movie grossed Rs 4.5 crore on day 2 at the box office. The film on day 1 made Rs 7.5 crore leading it to make Rs 12 crore in two days. Directed by P Vasu, ‘Chandramukhi 2‘ is a sequel to the super hit film ‘Chandramukhi’ that starred Rajinikanth and Jyothikain lead roles.The film was released in 2005 and it ran in theatres for more than 500 days.

‘Chandramukhi 2’ received mixed reviews from fans after its release in theatres.
