According to reports, she met Shahid at choreographerShiamak Davar’s dance classes during his pre-acting days, where they both had enrolled together. Vastavikta reportedly fell in love with Shahid during that time. However, the ‘Udta Punjab’ star didn’t reciprocate the same feelings, which made her love turn into an obsession over the years. Following which, Vastavikta eventually started stalking Shahid.
Back in 2012, Shahid Kapoor lodged a police complaint against Vastavikta, accusing her of relentless stalking. She allegedly shadowed him on movie sets, obstructed his outdoor activities, and even sat on the bonnet of his car, all while professing to be his biggest fan. Matters escalated when she took the unusual step of moving into a residence adjacent to Shahid’s own.
To compound the situation, she began identifying herself as Shahid’s wife to the people in their neighborhood. However, her actions led to her evading the situation when Shahid decided to report her to the police.
Vastavikta also tried her luck in films. She made her acting debut in 1996. However, she failed to impress the audience with her acting chops.
On the personal front, Shahid is now happily married to Mira Rajput. The couple is parents to two kids- Misha and Zain.
