Jaane Jaan star Jaideep Ahlawat recalls his first day of shooting with Shah Rukh Khan in Raees – Times of India

The year 2023 belongs to Shah Rukh Khan, he’s become the only actor to deliver two 1,000 crore hits in the same year with Pathaan and Jawan, and has one more release lined up in Dunki. However, that hasn’t stopped the superstar from reaching out to people when he’s liked their work. He recently called up Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat to praise them for their performance in their latest film Jaane Jaan, which was led by Kareena Kapoor Khan and was directed by Sujoy Ghosh.

While narrating the anecdote, Jaideep, at an event revealed that when SRK called him, he actually asked him if he wasn’t too busy to talk and Jaideep exclaimed that if he gets a heart attack, SRK will be responsible for it.
Jaideep also shared how he worked with the superstar in Farhan Akhtar- Ritesh Sidhwani and Rahul Dholakia’s Raees. He mentioned that some other actor was signed for it, but at the last minute, he was roped in, he was informed about it at 11:30 pm and next day at 7 am, he was shooting with Shah Rukh Khan. They shot for the next 4 days and that was the most amazing shooting experience he’s had.
He also revealed that he got starstruck on the first day of their shooting, he shared that he got busy admiring the superstar and that slowed him down, as for that one moment, he had become an audience and was not an actor. The director Rahul said that though the scene was fine, the energy of the scene was dropping , and what SRK did after that was amazing. He knew that the opposite actor was nervous, so he just said to everyone that let’s take a 5 minute break and he spoke to the actor for the next 15 minutes about the most random things, and in those minutes, the actor was able to get himself back, and the scene was cracked in no time.
