The new poster drop, also kicked off the count down to the trailer launch that is set to take place on October 16.Shortly after the poster release, viral tweets indicated that the highly anticipated trailer of the Salman starrer has officially been cleared by the Censor Board of Film Certification. A screenshot of the same indicated that the trailer for ‘Tiger 3’ has a runtime of 2 minutes and 51 seconds. According to unverified posts, the clip promises to deliver a captivating preview of the film’s adrenaline-pumping action and gripping storyline. There is however, no indication if the trailer will finally put an end to the speculation aroundEmraan Hashmi‘s role as the antagonist in the film.
Fans took to the comments section to share their excitement and even went ahead to ask if the trailer would feature a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan, who is set to make an extended cameo in the film as Pathaan.
Those keeping up with the YRF Spy Universe will know that Salman’s big appearance in Pathaan was kept under wraps right until the release. It was only when leaked videos from theatres were posted online, that fans got a gist of the character Tiger’s involvement in the project.
Salman, who reprises his iconic role as Tiger in the third installment of the action-packed franchise, has been eager to offer fans an unparalleled cinematic experience. Speaking about the film’s action scenes, he mentioned, “People have seen Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, and films from the YRF Spy Universe. So, it was important to give them something very new visually, something that was amazingly unique. The team has really pushed the envelope of action with Tiger 3. It had to be spectacular. There was no other option.”
Expressing his enthusiasm for the project, the actor also shared that he felt like a child on the set while witnessing the meticulously planned and grandiose action sequences designed for him. “The team has tried and executed things that have never been seen in an Indian film. I loved being a part of these massively mounted action sequences, and I was like a child when I was doing those scenes! We will tease you with many such big moments when we unveil the trailer of Tiger 3, which is going to be our next marketing asset of the film,” he added.
“Expect the unexpected from the trailer,” the star teased and added, “get ready for an action entertainer that will have a really intense storyline. For me, Tiger 3’s story is what hooked me instantly. I couldn’t believe what Adi and the team had come up with! This is definitely Tiger’s most dangerous mission, and he has to risk his life to stand a chance.”
Helmed by director Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ is set to light up the screens this Diwali in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead role.
