When Parineeti Chopra was called out by her classmate | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Parineeti Chopa recently had her ‘graha pravesh’ ceremony at Raghav Chaddha’s place. The couple got married on 24th September in an intimate wedding in Udaipur. Now an old video of the actress has surfaced online where she can be seen talking about the struggles she and her family had to go through during her childhood days, but the moment that video began doing the rounds of the internet, she was called out by her own classmate for making up fake stories.

During the interview, Parineeti recalled that during her childhood days her family didn’t have a lot of money and because of that she had to face a lot of difficulties.She also mentioned that she used to go to school on a cycle and they didn’t have a car or driver or money for bus tickets.
However, one of her classmates called her out and mentioned that Parineeti has been lying through her teeth and is creating fabricated stories. She revealed that Parineeti’s father did have a car which by then was considered luxurious. She also said that going to school on cycle was the trend and privilege not everyone had.
Later Parineeti issued a statement reacting to her classmate’s claims. She mentioned that her statement was being misconstrued. Her statement read as, “I was talking about using a car and driver to go to school. That’s all. The essence of what and why I was giving that example was completely lost.”
On the work front, Parineeti is currently seen in Mission Raniganj. The Great Bharat Rescue, where she is paired opposite Akshay Kumar once again after Kesari. She will next be seen in Amar Singh Chamkila’s biopic which is directed by Imtiaz Ali where Diljit Dosanjh will be seen playing the titular role and Parineeti essays the role of his wife. The actress has even sung a few songs for the film.
