
ED summons Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and others
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Ranbir Kapoor on October 6 in a money laundering case connected to Mahadev Online Book gaming-betting app. According to sources, Kapoor had promoted one of the gaming-betting app of the Mahadev group. However, he was summoned not as an accused but to understand his knowledge of the source of money he received to promote the app. The actor has asked for a two-week extension before he can meet with the investigative agency.
ETimes has learnt that apart from Ranbir Kapoor, there are other Bollywood celebrities and some Pakistani celebrities too under ED’s radar. The ED is investigating a money laundering case against Mahadev Online Book, operated by Chandrakar and Uppal who hail from Bhilai in Chhattisgarh and now based in Dubai.
Now, Shraddha Kapoor was also summoned by the agency on October 6 for questioning in relation to the Mahadev betting app case. Comedian Kapil Sharma, actors Huma Qureshi and Hina Khan have also received summons for questioning on different dates.
Gayatri Joshi accident case

Gayatri Joshi, who was vacationing in Italy with her husband Vikas Oberoi, met with an accident. According to reports, the car belonging to Gayatri and Vikas collided with other vehicles, including a camper car. The accident supposedly occurred when both a Lamborghini and a Ferrari attempted to overtake a camper van at the same time. The multiple-vehicle collision involved supercars worth crores, resulting in a Swiss couple losing their lives after their high-end supercar caught fire. Italian officials have started an inquiry into the incident, treating it as a ‘double road homicide.’ This means that Vikas Oberoi could possibly receive a maximum prison sentence of seven years if he faces legal charges and is ultimately proven guilty.
Aamir Khan collaborates with Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi

Aamir Khan revealed his upcoming production project, ‘Lahore, 1947,’ earlier this week. This film will feature Sunny Deol and will be directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi. The statement released by Aamir Khan’s production company, AKP, stated, “My team and I are thrilled to announce our next project, ‘Lahore, 1947,’ with the talented Sunny Deol in the lead and directed by one of my favorite directors, Raj Santoshi. We are excited about this collaboration, and we believe that the journey ahead will be incredibly rewarding.” The trio is aiming to commence filming for the project in the vicinity of December or January 2024.
