
South Buzz: Rajinikanth’s ‘Thalaivar 170’ look out; Ravi Teja starrer ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’s trailer released; Unni Mukundan – Haneef Adeni to team up for ‘Marco’
It was during the promotion of his film Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss, the legendary actor expressed his desire to work in a Marathi language film. He mentioned that he speaks Marathi at home but their Marathi is slightly different than that is usually spoken in Mumbai. He also said that at one point in time he was supposed to work in a Marathi film but things didn’t work out. He added that he still hopes to work in one.
The veteran actor also revealed that he would also like to play a transgender. He revealed that in over 160 films in 45 years, he has explored all genres but not a transgender. He also shared that no one has offered him a role like that.
Rajinikanth recently delivered his biggest hit till date in Jailer, it made about Rs 650 crore across the globe. He also became the highest paid actor in the country, as the producer Kalanidhi Maran handed him a cheque post the success of the film, which many believe was for Rs 100 crore.
He has teamed up Amitabh Bachchan and Fahadh Faasil for his next which is currently being referred to as Thalaivar 170 and will be directed by T J Gnanavel, after which he will be teaming up with Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is currently caught up with Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo: Bloody Sweet.
