The Marvels: Park Seo-Joon and Brie Larson get romantic in new promo; hint at possible wedding scene | English Movie News – Times of India

In just a month’s time, Brie Larson will fly into action with the latest instalment of her superhero film ‘The Marvels‘. The actress, who plays Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, will band together with Teyonah Parris‘ Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel for one epic adventure.
The film is a sequel to the billion-dollar box office hit ‘Captain Marvel’ and will mark the return of the female superhero and the big-screen debut of the characters Monica Rambeau and Ms Marvel, who were first seen in the MCU web series – WandaVision and Ms Marvel, respectively.

Also joining the band of heroes is Korean star Park Seo-Joon, who will reportedly play the role of Prince Yan of Aladna. Fans were given a first glimpse of the star in the trailer that dropped last month. According to reports, he was rumoured to play Brie’s love interest in the film.
Now, a new promo that dropped online, gives fans a closer look at the star in action as he seemingly wooes Carol with his charms. Park Seo-Joon plays quite a peculiar character who resides on a musical planet, where everyone has to sing to communicate. While we have got glimpses of what appear to be musical numbers in the film, the new promo features Park and Brie in a romantic dance sequence.

Even though the trailer featured just a 2-second dance sequence, it was enough to get fans speculating about a possible wedding scene in the film. As the clip also featured Carol in a blue gown, many assumed that it could be from the characters’ wedding, as seen in the comic books.
“It’s been unbelievable… holding onto this for so long and just seeing these incredible things coming to life,” Larson says in the clip.
According to the star, ‘The Marvels’ will find the hero at an “interesting spot” and explains, “She’s dealing with being on around… and she’s suddenly inaudible into a situation with this new team, grappling with what it means to be a leader.”
The film directed by Nia DaCosta also stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Zawe Ashton as the antagonist.
The Marvels is set to release in theatres this Diwali on November 10 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It will clash with the Bollywood film ‘Tiger 3’ starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles. The film will also see Shah Rukh Khan in an extended cameo.
