According to the Bollywood Hungama report, a source has said that after the grand success of ‘Gadar 2,’ Sunny Deol has asked for a fee of Rs.50 crores upfront for ‘Border 2’. He also cracked a back-end deal with the producers to have some share of the profit that the movie would earn.
The source further stated that after ‘Gadar 2’ Sunny Deol deserves what he is asking for, as his presence will be great for the sequel to the 1997 war classic. Therefore, the producers also didn’t have trouble in sealing the deal with the actor.Earlier, in an interview on The Ranveer Show, Sunny spoke about the buzz going around ‘Border 2.’ In a humorous way, Sunny said that the movie was supposed to be made in 2015, but since his other movie failed, people were skeptical about the project. However, now they wish to make the film.
Further, spilling the beans on how interested is he in starring in ‘Border 2,’ the actor said it depends on the plot. He wishes to see the extension of the characters in the sequel and a plot that would entertain the audience who will be coming to watch the movie.
