The ‘3 Idiots’ actress also revealed how she told him that she does not judge relationships and friendships or the talent as actors in films that don’t work well at the box office.
For the unversed, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ had a weak opening of Rs 11.7 crore in India. The collections didn’t pick up over the next few days and it ended its theatrical run with a total business of Rs 61.36 crore, failing to join the Rs 100 crore club.
Bebo further added that the film was warm and that Aamir was completely immersed in his character. She further revealed how the film’s performance could have been affected as the world was just opening up after COVID-19 and people might be in search of something energetic and fun rather than emotional.
On the work front, Kareena will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’. This cop drama also stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar and many others. Apart from this, she also has Hansal Mehta’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’ in her kitty. It is scheduled to premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival.
