Pulkit Samrat, who recently gained a lot of praise for his performance in the comedy film ‘Fukrey 3,’ took a trip down memory lane to his early days in Mumbai.
He shared some interesting anecdotes about his initial experiences in the city during a conversation with Mashable India.
When Pulkit first moved to Mumbai, his car was a red sedan with tinted windows and a number plate that had ‘500’ on it.He loved playing loud music in his car, but this drew the attention of the police. As a result, he was frequently stopped by thepolice at various checkpoints because they thought he might be driving under the influence.
Pulkit even recalled a funny incident where he was pulled over three times on the same day at three consecutive checkpoints because of the ‘vibe’ of his car.
At the first two stops, he cooperated with the police, but at the third one, he decided to set things straight. He told the officer to thoroughly check him and to inform the subsequent checkpoints that he wasn’t intoxicated.
Pulkit assured the officer that he had never consumed alcohol in his life, which meant there was no reason for him to be drunk driving.
Surprisingly, the officer passed on his message to the others, and his car was allowed to continue without further interruption.
