She is now gearing up for Chakda Xpress, which is based on the life of celebrated Indian woman cricketer Jhulan Goswami and her struggles. This biographical sports drama is helmed by Prosit Roy and produced by Anushka’s brother Karnesh Sharma. Chakda Xpress will be released on OTT and will mark Anushka’s return to acting after a hiatus of nearly five years.
