The film had a downward graph at the all-India box office as well. The movie raked in an estimated Rs 4.3 crore from Karnataka, Rs 5.3 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Rs 23.8 crore from Tamil Nadu sectors and an additional Rs 5.85 crore from Kerala. Meanwhile, the collections from the rest of India amounted to an estimated Rs 2.25 crore. The film’s total collection for Day 2 currently stands at an estimated Rs 76.2 crore, according to a report on sacnilk.com.
Notably, trade gurus have predicted a good weekend for ‘Leo,’ with the film sailing past the Rs 117 crore mark at the domestic market.
The film currently enjoys an average occupancy of 66.85% in Tamil Nadu cinemas and Chennai reporting an average of 88%.
With ‘Leo’ off to an impressive start, it registers another successful release after ‘Kaithi’ (2019: Rs 106.8 crore) starring Karthi and ‘Vikram’ (2022; Rs 414.43 crore) led by Kamal Haasan.
