Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra perform ‘Kanya Puja’ of their daughter Samisha on Durga Ashtami, netizens react – WATCH – Times of India

It’s the festival of worshipping the Goddess Durga in various forms as Durga Ashtami and Navratri vibe is felt in the air. Several B-town celebs are making the most and chaneling their inner religious side. While one serious various B-town divas dressing up in traditional attires and being a part of the Durga Puja celebrations, many also made the most of the Durga Ashtami by performing ‘kanya puja‘.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra was seen performing ‘kanja pujan’ of none other than her daughter Samisha. Her husband Raj Kundra was also seen her as they washed Samisha’s feet. This humble gesture of Shilpa and Raj towards their daughter left netizens touched. Shilpa shared this video and she wrote, “🌷॥ जय माता दी ॥🌷 On the auspicious occasion of Ashtami today, we performed the Kanya puja with our very own DEVI, Samisha♥️😇🙏 Our way of paying gratitude to the Supreme Goddess Maha Gauri today and her nine divine forms🙏.”

Both Shilpa and Samisha are seen twinning in purple, while Raj can be seen in a blue kurta. Shilpa also did the aarti of her son, Viaan Raj Kundra. Later, the sister-brother duo hugged each other.
