Cha Eun-woo and Park Gyu-young’s romance in ‘A Good Day to Be a Dog’ goes off-air for 2 weeks! Here’s why – Times of India

Fans were just getting hooked to the chemistry of Park Gyu-young’s character of Han Hae-na, a high school Korean language teacher, and Cha Eun-woo‘s portrayal of math teacher Jin Seo-won, but the makers had to hit pause! The new episode was to air today but MBC announced that the slot was given away for the broadcast of ‘KBO Postseason Semi-Playoff Game 3’.
Adapted from a webtoon, ‘A Good Day to Be a Dog‘ premiered on October 11 with two episodes, followed by the third episode on October 18. Now, after a break of two weeks, the intriguing drama will return with its fourth episode on November 1. The show has recorded low ratings for its initial episodes.
‘A Good Day to Be a Dog’ narrates the story of Han Hae Na, who is cursed to into a dog after she kisses someone and this spell breaks after she kisses the same person. The twist in the tale is that her love interest, Jin Seo-won, is afraid of dogs due to a childhood trauma.
Recently, Cha Eun-woo had opened up about the best moments of filming the series. He was quoted by Soompi, I became really close with Park Gyu Young and Lee Hyun Woo, whom I worked together with the most, so we laughed and joked around together a lot. All the moments on set were fun, but the most memorable episode was the scene where I had to get a kiss from a dog. I filmed it by putting liquid-type dog treats on my lips. I think it was the most memorable because it was my first experience doing so.” Speaking about the same scene, Park Gyu Young added, “In a scene where Cha Eun Woo was filming with a dog, he filmed with liquid-type dog treats on his lips because he had to kiss the dog. I think everyone filmed it while holding back their laughter.”
‘A Good Day to Be a Dog’ is expected to have 14 episodes, unlike the usual format of 16.
