Fan who allegedly disrupted ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, NCT’s Jaehyun, and Jungkook’s outing breaks silence amid scrutiny from fans – Times of India

An incident involving a fan’s encounter with K-Pop idols ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo, NCT’s Jaehyun, and BTS’ Jungkook during their night out has ignited a storm of discussion on the internet. The fan, now facing intense scrutiny, decided to provide her perspective on the incident.
On October 26, 2023, a video capturing the moment when a fan approached the three idols during their private time made its way across the internet like wildfire. In the video, the fan can be seen walking up to the idols, who were enjoying their time together. After requesting an autograph, she attempted to strike up a conversation. However, Jaehyun politely replied, “We’re truly sorry, but we’re having our own time.”

Furthermore, the fan shared another video, originally posted by other fans, in which she touched the cups used by the idols and revealed that she had asked Jungkook to sing for her. Understandably, the fan received a torrent of criticism from fellow fans, which led her to clarify her side of the story.
According to koreaboo, the fan stated, “I heard that my video was spreading without permission, and false information was circulating. The guys weren’t with women, and we are just fans who support Jungkook. Additionally, the Korean girl in heels next to Cha Eun Woo is not our friend. We noticed her and her Korean friend. They also spotted the guys.” According to the fan, they didn’t follow the idols but came across them by pure coincidence.
She added, “To clarify, we didn’t track them down. We were just enjoying a girls’ night out when we noticed a group of people. We didn’t think much of it until we turned around and saw Jungkook. It took a few seconds to process who he was, and then it hit us that it was actually Jungkook. If you don’t believe me, ask the restaurant owner for CCTV footage.”
This revelation from the fan aims to shed light on her side of the story and emphasize that her intentions were not malicious. The incident has spurred intense discussion among fans and the broader K-Pop community, highlighting the challenges and responsibilities that come with idol fandom in the digital age.
