Rhea Chakraborty‘s life underwent a drastic transformation post the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput in June 2020. At the time of Rajput’s passing, the two were romantically involved, and Rhea was soon arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau. She subsequently spent 28 days in prison. At a recent event, Rhea candidly discussed her time behind bars and shed light on a surprising aspect of her experience.
During her incarceration, Rhea found herself in an under-trial prison, signifying that she had not been convicted of any crime.Surrounded by women who were also in similar circumstances, Rhea was struck by their resilience and capacity to find happiness in the simplest of pleasures. She described a unique kind of love that permeated the prison environment, emphasizing their ability to seize moments of joy and appreciate the small things in life.

Rhea acknowledged that her life had been in turmoil during that period, but she emphasized that the choice between experiencing heaven or hell was a matter of one’s perspective and mental approach.
