To set the record straight he even said that it is like putting psychedelic light in Ajanta or disco music in Taj Mahal.
He added that one should respect the cultural heritage of songs and honor the gems created by great musicians. As long as you want Arijit Singh to sing a KL Saigal song with new arrangements, it is fine, but if you add a rap in between, that is where the whole thing changes for the worse.
