Tara Sutaria says she didn’t initially know how to integrate herself into the industry’s clans as an outsider: I’m finally opening up – Times of India



Actress Tara Sutaria is currently busy promoting her upcoming movie titled “Apurva.” In a recent interview, she opened up about her experiences as an ‘outsider’ in the film industry. She shared that when she was new to Bollywood, it was a unique and somewhat challenging experience. Tara mentioned that in the film industry, there are various groups or ‘clans,’ and as an outsider, she didn’t initially know how to integrate herself into this network.
However, as time has passed, Tara has made friends within the industry, which has boosted her confidence. She now feels more at ease when interacting with her peers. She expressed that this journey has been wonderful as she has had the opportunity to get to know people, and they have gotten to know her in return. She is enjoying the connections she’s made.

Tara also revealed that she is naturally an introvert, unlike some of her younger co-stars who are more open about themselves. She mentioned that even before entering the film industry, she was relatively reserved. During her initial films, she preferred to listen and let her co-actors do most of the talking. Over time, she has gradually become more expressive and talkative. She was giving an interview to India Today.
She acknowledged that being an introvert has sometimes posed challenges for her, especially during her early days in the industry.

Tara , the 27-year-old actress, made her acting debut in 2019 with Karan Johar‘s ‘Student of the Year 2’ and has since appeared in several films, including ‘Ek Villain Returns,’ ‘Heropanti 2,’ ‘Tadap,’ and ‘Marjaavaan.’
